SERVICE

Holistic Mental Wellness.

Care that looks beyond symptoms to include sleep, movement, nutrition, relationships, and meaning. Whole-person care, grounded in evidence.
WHAT THIS INVOLVES

Mental health is rarely just chemistry.

A psychiatric symptom is a signal, not the whole story. Anxiety might be neurochemical, or it might be poor sleep, an unsustainable schedule, or a relationship that is not working. Often it is several at once. We look at the whole picture.

That does not mean dismissing what medication or therapy can do. It means putting them inside a larger conversation that includes the daily inputs that shape how you feel: sleep, movement, nutrition, light, social connection, time off screens, time with people who know you.

Holistic mental wellness at LumenMind is not an alternative to evidence-based psychiatry. It is evidence-based psychiatry done with full attention to how a human being actually lives.

WHAT WE COVER
  • Sleep architecture and routines
  • Movement that fits your life
  • Nutritional considerations for mood and energy
  • Stress, demands, and capacity
  • Relationships and social support
  • Meaning, purpose, and what you care about
WHO THIS IS FOR

Holistic care may be the right starting point if...

  • You feel that something larger than symptoms is shaping your mental health.
  • You have tried medication or therapy and want a broader conversation.
  • Your sleep, energy, or daily functioning has shifted and you want to understand why.
  • You are looking for a care provider who treats you as a person, not a diagnosis.
  • You want practical, sustainable changes alongside any clinical care.
WHAT TO EXPECT

Mental health is rarely linear.

BEFORE

The whole picture

Before our session, we send an intake that goes beyond symptoms. Sleep, daily structure, what nourishes you, what depletes you. The more we know going in, the more time we have to talk about what matters.
DURING

The conversation

We meet for 60 to 90 minutes to map out what is happening across all the dimensions that affect your mental health. No checklist diagnosis. A real conversation.
AFTER

The integrated plan

Your plan integrates everything we discussed: any clinical recommendations, lifestyle adjustments worth trying, things to track. Sent in writing, designed to fit your actual life.
FOLLOW-UP

The adjustments

We meet again to see what is working, what is not, and what needs to shift. Holistic care is iterative. Small changes often matter more than dramatic ones.
FREQUENTLY ASKED

Common questions, answered.

Is this alternative or complementary medicine?
Neither. It is evidence-based psychiatric care that takes the whole person seriously. Medication and therapy remain core tools when appropriate.
No. We start where you are. Small sustainable changes nearly always outperform ambitious ones that do not stick.
We do not prescribe lifestyle. We have conversations. If something is worth trying, we explain why and how, and you decide.
Yes. Many of our patients work with us across both. Holistic care does not exclude medication, it puts it in context.
We coordinate. Holistic mental wellness brings together what therapists, nutritionists, and physicians often handle separately. We can work alongside any of these specialists.
